We’re hiring! The Stella Prize is seeking an Assistant Prize Manager

The Stella Prize is looking for a dynamic person to join our small team as Assistant Prize Manager.

This is a pivotal role assisting in the management and administration of the Stella Prize; coordinating Stella events, fundraising, marketing and communications; and implementing aspects of the Stella Prize Schools Program.

You will work closely with the Stella Prize Manager, as well as with the Executive Director of the Stella Prize, Schools Program coordinator, contract staff and interns. The ideal candidate will be extremely well organised, and possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in the book industry would be an advantage.

Terms: This is a 10-month contract position with possibility for renewal. The role is 3 days per week, commencing as soon as possible. (Some overtime and work outside of normal business hours will be essential during peak times)
Location: Based in the Nicholas Building, Melbourne CBD
Reporting: To the Stella Prize Manager
Salary: To be negotiated with the successful applicant
